How This Site Measures Visits and Inquiries
I count visits, completed page checks, and audit requests separately so I can see whether the research helps someone take a useful next step.
The Free Checker
The checker fetches the public page you submit and returns its analysis. It does not retain the page contents, submitted URL, or score in the new referral measurement. A successful check adds a completion event to the current visit.
Referrals and Visits
A first-party session cookie connects a visit to its completed checks and any inquiry you submit. The measurement keeps a random visit identifier, the referring website, a campaign label when present, the landing URL without its query string, and the time. It does not put names, email addresses, or message text in the event record. A visit expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Browser events can miss visitors who block scripts; known crawler user agents and configured owner traffic are excluded.
Your Inquiry
The information you submit is stored privately outside the public website and used to respond to your request. It includes the referring source for the visit so I can understand which research brought you here. A notification is sent to the site owner. Contact me through the contact form if you need your inquiry corrected or removed. Please do not submit passwords or sensitive account data.
What These Numbers Can Establish
Google clicks come from Search Console. Referring websites come from campaign labels or the browser referrer and may be unavailable. An AI referral is a visit carrying a recognized AI service referrer; it is not a count of citations or proof that the service recommended the business. I mark an audit inquiry qualified only after reviewing it.
This referral measurement started September 12, 2026. Earlier checker use and inquiry conversion rates are unavailable under this method. The site also uses the existing StatCounter and Ahrefs analytics scripts, which operate separately from this first-party record.
