What This Directory Is For
A tool belongs here when it helps answer a specific question: can a machine reach the page, understand the entity, validate the structured data, observe search demand, or show which sources an answer engine used? A familiar logo is not enough. The useful part is knowing what evidence the tool can produce and where that evidence stops.
The listings separate testing surfaces from proof. A citation in Perplexity is evidence from Perplexity at that moment. A valid rich-result test shows that Google can parse eligible markup. Search Console shows Google search performance. None of those observations automatically establishes visibility across every AI system.
How to Use the Listings
Start with the question you are trying to answer, then choose the smallest tool that can answer it. Use the AI search resources to inspect generated answers and citations. Use the schema tools to validate machine-readable declarations. Use Search Console for disclosed Google queries and landing pages. Keep screenshots, dates, prompts, result URLs, and exported data when the decision matters.
The directory is deliberately opinionated about limits. Tools are more useful when the listing explains what they cannot prove.
